Type design
Type design inspired by the poem The Broken Vase by Sully Prudhomme, written in 1865. The typeface has heavy stem and high ascender and descender height to emphasize the abrasion within the letters.
The poem carries an emphasis on excessive contact to what one cares could crumble it away by even subtle forces such as a blow from a fan.

In Corrade, The abrasion can be found at the intersection between shoulder and stem, which creates the different width of the stem on the ascender, descender, and x-height.
